- Provide support to participants with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
- Understand and provide appropriate care to participants with low and high care needs who may demonstrate some challenging behaviors.
- Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community supports, within clearly defined guidelines.
- Store and maintain confidential documents in a safe, secure and confidential manner
- Assist clients to meet their NDIS goals.
- Report incidents and hazards to management as they arise.
- Assist clients to organize and attend appointments relating to their healthcare needs.
- Have a strong English proficiency and communication skills.
- Encourage and support clients to engage in social activities relating to their interests, beliefs and culture.
First Aid Certification (Required)
Working with Children Check (Required)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required)
Driver License (Required)
CPR (Required)
Manual Handling (Required)
Medication Training (Preferred)
Car Registration (Required)
Car Insurance (Required)
Cert III Individual Support; or equivalent
